 Stockport, Manchester: According to the company Laser Quantum, at the upcoming Laser World of Photonics Munich exhibition, 22-25 June at the Messe München, Laser Quantum will be launching two exclusive products to the market - the taccor comb and the taccor x10. The taccor comb is the first commercially available frequency comb based on plug and play Ti:Sapphire femtosecond laser technology; the taccor x10 offers a 10GHz repetition rate which is unique to the market and features repetition rate control with power pump modulation for effective control of the carrier-envelope offset frequency.

Dr. Albrecht Bartels of Laser Quantum GmbH said ‘both these products bring the high power and superior noise performance of Ti:sapphire back to the frequency comb market in a robust, turn-key fashion. I’m excited to see the taccor comb being launched as a commercial first, as it delivers up to 1W of average power with a unique 1GHz mode spacing. The taccor x10 gives up to 1mW per comb line spaced by 10GHz and is ideal for resolved mode spectroscopy, low-noise microwave generation, astrocombs and optical arbitrary wave generation.’
